This cookie policy describes the cookies and trackers placed while you browse the Flerüx website (https://flerux.com), their purpose, how long they are kept, and the means available to you to exercise your choices. It supplements our Privacy Policy and applies to all pages of the site.

1. What is a cookie?

The broader term “tracker” covers any technology used to store or read information on your device, such as cookies, local storage or equivalent identifiers. A cookie alone cannot identify you; it is used to remember information about your browsing, to ensure the site works properly, or to measure its audience.

2. Cookies used on the site

Flerüx has chosen a restrained, privacy-respecting browsing experience. The site uses only a limited number of cookies, detailed below with their name, purpose, category and retention period:

• Language preference — Purpose: remembers your language choice (French or English) so the site is displayed in the language you selected. · Category: functional. · Duration: approximately 1 year.
• Cookie consent choice — Purpose: remembers your decision to accept or refuse non-essential cookies, so you are not asked again on every visit. · Category: functional. · Duration: approximately 6 months.
• Administration session (flx_admin) — Purpose: keeps the authenticated session of back-office members active while they manage the site's editorial content. This cookie is reserved for authorised staff and is never placed for visitors. · Category: functional. · Duration: session-based (8 hours).
• Vercel Analytics — Purpose: complementary audience measurement used to analyse traffic and improve the site. This cookie is set only after your explicit consent. · Category: audience measurement. · Duration: as stated in the provider's documentation; this cookie is never placed without consent.

Our primary audience measurement is carried out without cookies: it is self-hosted, fully anonymised and allows no individual tracking. The site uses no advertising cookies and embeds no third-party tracking cookies for profiling or targeting purposes.

3. Legal basis

Cookies strictly necessary for the operation of the site and the delivery of the service you request (language preference, storing your consent choice, administration session) are exempt from consent, in accordance with Article 82 of the French Data Protection Act and the guidelines of the CNIL. They rely on our legitimate interest in ensuring the proper functioning and security of the site.

Non-exempt audience measurement cookies (Vercel Analytics) are placed only on the basis of your prior, free, informed and specific consent, which you may withdraw at any time.

4. Managing your consent

On your first visit, a banner lets you accept all cookies, refuse them, or customise your choices by category. No cookie subject to consent is placed until you have expressed a positive choice. Refusing non-essential cookies does not affect your access to the site's content.

You may reconsider your decision at any time, under the same conditions in which it was given: by reopening the consent banner, or by clearing the site data (cookies and local storage) from your browser settings, which will display the banner again on your next visit.

5. Deleting cookies from your browser

Deleting functional cookies may reset certain preferences, such as your display language or the record of your consent choice.

6. Retention period of your consent

Your consent choice is retained for a period of approximately six months, in line with the CNIL's recommendations. Once this period expires, the banner is presented to you again in order to collect an updated consent. The retention period specific to each cookie is set out in section 2.
